Hooking up the potato planter. This machine is kind of overkill for us. It takes longer to get it all ready to go than it takes to plant all the potatoes!
Potato planter in action. It plants six rows at once at a speed of 4 to 6 miles per hour (that is a very brisk walking speed). There is a radar gun which reads the ground speed and relays this to a computer which automatically adjusts the machine speed to keep it planting at whatever rate I have set it at! Pretty high-tech, especially for me!
